The EM-6883 is a small loop antenna intended primarily for use in the 30-300 MHz frequency range. It can be used with any 50Ω impedance spectrum analyzer, EMI receiver or similar instrumentation.
When tripod mounted, the loop exhibits a distinctly notched beam pattern useful for direction finding. Handheld operation also allows probing for the location of signal sources.
