The Small Business Administration (SBA)’s HUBZone program is designed to fuel economic development and job creation in distressed urban and rural communities. To qualify, a company must meet the small business size requirements, be at least 51% owned and controlled by U.S. citizens, have its principal office and 35% of its employees living in a HUBZone.
