What the award means

The MAE Innovators Awards, published annually by Military + Aerospace Electronics, recognizes the most impactful enabling technologies in aerospace and defense — spanning RF and microwave, C4ISR, trusted computing, electro-optics, and more. Honorees are evaluated by a qualified panel of engineering judges on criteria including originality, real-world impact, innovation, and performance advantage over competing solutions.

The EM-6841 is a rugged, ultra-wideband, passive omni-directional antenna purpose-built for multi-mission versatility in the most demanding environments. Covering an extraordinary frequency range of 20 MHz to 43.5 GHz with a full 360° azimuth radiation pattern, it is designed from the ground up for military, private defense, and advanced testing applications.

Certified to MIL-STD-810H, the EM-6841 is hardened to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures, blowing rain, blowing sand, shock, and vibration, everything the field can throw at it. Available with Type K, SMA, or Type N connectors to match your system requirements, and with multiple mounting options including a tripod mount, it is engineered for rapid deployment across air, land, and ground platforms.
